THE MIDDLE EAST PEACE FORUM

NAFFO Switzerland aims to increase understanding within Swiss politics of the complex situation in the Middle East and to place current developments in their historical and political context. A key question is what this means for Switzerland and its political options. In line with NAFFO eV (Germany, naffo.de ), NAFFO Switzerland seeks to inform political decision-makers, the public, and other stakeholders through information campaigns, events, and direct engagement.

NAFFO can access excellent contacts and resources in its work and offers its interlocutors a source of reliable and exclusive information.

OBJECTIVE

  • NAFFO aims to increase understanding in Swiss politics of the complexity of the situation in the Middle East through its activities and information.​

BASIC PRINCIPLES

  • NAFFO is deeply committed to the principles of a democratic, secular and constitutional society and to the protection of human rights.

  • For this reason, the initiative advocates for the inviolable right of Israel, the region's only democracy, to exist. Secure borders and coexistence are the foundations of peaceful coexistence in the Middle East.

  • NAFFO also welcomes all religious and political movements in the Arab world that are interested in a just peace in the Middle East based on tolerance and democracy.

  • NAFFO is non-partisan. Our discussions are confidential, and NAFFO is not interested in the press or media.
